About William Welsome

An entrepreneurial presence in the financial and insurance sphere for more than a decade, William Welsome is an independent Registered Investment Advisor. Obtaining his bachelor’s degree in finance from San Diego State University, Mr. Welsome gained early career experience as a stockbroker with Wells Fargo & Company. He leveraged this financial knowledge in establishing Satellite Trading and Investments in 1999,.

In leading that Mission Valley, California advisory firm for nine years, Mr. Welsome worked with diverse corporate clients in industries such as retail and hospitality. He helped businesses meet strategic goals that encompassed investments, financing, budget planning, and contract negotiation. A second venture, Wealth Capital, expanded his services to include investment banking and education for publicly held companies.

William Welsome also maintained responsibilities as business development partner with Chatfield Dean & Company in La Jolla, California, for 13 years. He assisted Principal Capital Group, Inc., which maintained a dedicated asset portfolio of mortgage and construction investments for the business-development enterprise 40 Act funds. From 2008 to 2009, Mr. Welsome served as a broker with RichMark Capital Corporation. The nationwide financial firm provides businesses with comprehensive brokerage solutions and expansion-focused capital financing pathways.

William Welsome has a strong community presence and supports the charitable organization Fire Dogs. Through giving a trained dog to a local fire station annually, the nonprofit ensures that firefighters can identify cases of arson involving accelerant use. Mr. Welsome has also volunteered in fundraising and organizational capacities with the American Red Cross’ Stanislaus Chapter. He maintains a variety of stock- and insurance-broker qualifications, including Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses.
